Dr. Robert Gillio

Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer at The Force for Health® Network

Always focused on empowering the person with the ability to be part of the solution for their own health status and health care outcome, my personal and professional career focus has been to innovate to solve problems, test solutions, and share the results widely.

It started first with family, then organizations across the community, and in my own practice and in community policies.

I sleep at night knowing that there are less drug errors, surgical complications, and better trained people and providers worldwide as a result.I have been fortunate to be able to balance innovation, , medical practice, community service, and family life with real success coupled with tremendous learning opportunities in activities without predicted health or business outcomes.

I am a clinician that has run ICU’s, and free clinics, an inventor with 15 patents and 3 exits to Fortune 500 companies with inventions used by health care professionals worldwide. I am also a social entrepreneur that has founded or supported efforts for the citizen to be the health literate caregiver and demonstrated success in extraordinary times at Ground Zero during 911 and rebuilding health care services after Hurricane Katrina, and in ordinary times in urban, suburban and rural settings. One thing I have learned is that volunteerism and grants are nice in early stages to incubate an effort, but for sustainability the solution, it must have value with a measurable achieved goals and financial return on investment.

Grants and hopes and dreams disappear when new administrations or agency focus changes. At this stage of my career, I am continuing to seek opportunities to innovate for better health care outcomes with person/patient and provider, payor, and community holistic solutions enabled with knowledge, incentives and technology.

The Force for Health Program will hopefully create a movement worldwide for a free work force that helps communities address social determinants and care giver issues.

It is the core objective of the My Healthy Globe team with its “omnimedia” health and ed tech IT solutions. Partnering with a health care system or company that gets it and wishes to create a team to identify, test, and demonstrate across system and community solutions is how I wish to move to next with my tools and relationships I have acquired to perpetuate my passion for the person to be the core asset of the health care team.

Therese M. Doyle

C.N.M., M.S

She is a Certified Nurse Midwife and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with over 30 years’ experience providing care to women of all ages and ethnic backgrounds. She began her career as a labor and delivery nurse in a community hospital in suburban Chicago. After several years of helping women give birth, She completed a Master’s degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago and achieved certification as a Nurse Midwife and Advanced Practice Nurse.

As a new APRN/CNM, she was employed at a busy gynecology practice where she learn about how to treat complex gynecologic issues for women of all ages. During that time, she worked with a gynecologic surgeon who performed a wide variety of procedures, including surgeries for cancer, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, infertility, and more. She provided pre & post-operative counseling and support as well as assisted in surgery.

After several years at that practice, the timing was right to start a hospital-based midwifery practice in the western suburbs of Chicago (Midwest Midwifery, Ltd). Together with an incredible team of midwives, their group delivered 2500 babies and provided care to over 6,000 patients, including hundreds of women through the Why Wait – Illinois Breast & Cervical Cancer program.

Following the sale of that midwifery practice, she spent five years in Mexico where she learned how to rock climb, speak basic Spanish and provide culturally minded care to women without regular access to medical services. She participates in mission projects in both Mexico and Guatemala.

For the past several years, she has worked at a university setting in Chicago providing obstetric and gynecologic care, mentoring students, and delivering babies.

She then obtained her concentration in Economics and medical degree from Brown University’s Program in Liberal Medical Education. Her interest in pursuing the subspecialty field of dermatology led to a research fellowship in dermatologic surgery at the University of Miami, during which she performed significant research investigations, conference presentations and managed clinical trials in lasers. She then completed an internship in surgery at Orlando Regional Medical Center, followed by a dermatology residency. She completed her dermatology residency at Los Angeles County + University of Southern California Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, where she served as chief resident. During the pandemic, she discovered her interest for teledermatology and specifically for learning the nuances and differences in providing dermatological care in diverse platforms and across state lines, particularly to patients in underserved and rural areas or busy patients simply in need of care. This passion led her to work for various companies and pursuits within telemedicine and teledermatology, where she is licensed in 50 states – all states except for Minnesota. Dr. Anna Chacon is now a Board-Certified Dermatologist with a passion and clinical expertise for teledermatology as well as all other aspects of dermatology, medical, surgical and cosmetic alike.
